by THOMAS Spring 2012 collection

Before entering the venue, the models of the by THOMAS line were there to greet attendees in stoic/mannequin-like poses, sporting the Spring 2012 season’s collection, allowing for an up-close analysis of the pieces. With all of the guests seated, they then made their entrance displaying an ensemble palette of subtle rose nude and sea foam, which walked next to kelly green and prints (a collaboration with artist-painter Christopher Ross).

For Spring 2012, by THOMAS plays with the concept of lines, deconstructs the suit and creates new menswear influenced silhouettes, resulting in a refreshing take on the classics. Clever accessories as her reinterpretation of the lunch bag is a further example of her tongue-and-cheek but stylishly practical approach to fashion. Bravo!
