Make Printing Sustainable with Soy Printer Ink

Soybeans are a renewable and sustainable resource in that it takes little energy and water to grow while producing abundant yields. Generally printer inks are petroleum-based, which can mean hazardous effects for the environment when you add up all the newsletters, newspapers, memos, etc. that are printed out on a daily basis. Soy printer ink prints just as brightly and effectively as petroleum-based ink, has greater rub-resistance, and is competitively priced with other inks so that it won’t make a huge dent in your budget.

Other simple “green” office tips:

Don’t print unless you have to. Use email and instant messages to communicate with your staff
Use recycled paper and other recycled office supplies
Recycle all your paper
Turn off your computers (and the power bars they’re connected to) and lights when you go home at night- this can save you a ton in bills and energy
Compost!
