Mustache Power

It all started with the controversial Louis Vuitton shoes from their 2010 Spring/Summer collection. All of a sudden, mustaches seemed to have found their place in fashion, and have since cropped up all over the place in apparel, stationary and novelty items.

And even larger retailers like Urban Outfitters and American Apparel have jumped on the bandwagon.

And this love of facial hair is even being incorporated into the work of Canadian designers:

Based in Toronto, Avril Loreti makes these adorable handkerchiefs printed with four different mustaches. To buy one, click here.

These mustachioed handmade cards are the work of Brinner, a Montreal designer.

Whether it’s in support of a favourite hockey team’s bid for the Stanley cup or a month-long commitment for men’s health, growing facial hair has always been in style. They add flair and a dash of fun, and they’re sure to be around for a good long while.
