Style Icon Series: Bianca Jagger

Born May 2, 1945, this current human rights advocate made her mark as a studio 54 jet setter in the 1970s. Born into an affluent family in Nicaragua, her intensely striking features set her apart from the rest of the Studio 54 crowd, catching the eye of the legendary Rolling Stones lead Mick Jagger. Married for a mere 8 years, Bianca Jagger still enjoyed many iconic moments, including her wedding day, on which she wore a since legendary plunging neckline blazer in Saint-Tropez.

Bianca Jagger, wearing a white three-piece suit and black bowler hat, carrying a cane and walking through Heathrow Airport in 1972 could have either inspired or been inspired by YSL. And her style is still very relevant to this day as you can see in the picture below.

We celebrate you Bianca Jagger, not only for your political accomplishments, but for your fearless and unapologetic sense of style.
