Mélissa Nepton Spring 2012 – MFW21
For Spring 2012, the Mélissa Nepton woman escapes to a desert safari clad in an easy, breezy look. A slight departure from her past collections, the upcoming season sees her sophisticated style explore an ethereal suppleness in a neutral color palette splashed with touches of orange. Soft silk and light linen were embellished with what the designer calls a techno twist, models sported vinyl visors most likely shielding from the adventure to come.
Nepton a beloved on the Montreal Fashion Week circuit, presented looks that were runway worthy all the while featuring a wearable collection. We loved the crocheted belted cape and the palazzo pants, the latter a recurring trend this season seen also at Barila and Mulcair.
It was an effortless expression that was drapped, wrapped, and cascading into simple beauty.
