Harricana – MFW20 – F/W11.12

Montreal Fashion Week edition 20 launched with Ecoluxe brand Harricana by Mariouche Fall/Winter 2011.2012 collection. Held at floating spa Bota Bota, a touch of urban for background juxtapose with the natural surrounding elements was magical for these fur sure creations.

A pioneer in extending a second life to old furs, Harricana’s decadent designs are inspired by a femme fatale where raccoon pelts are seductive with a leopard print; urban military characterized by raccoon dyed khaki and detailed with recycled buttons from old soldier uniforms; and a call of the wild Canadiana classics with the use of coyote, silver fox and musquash patchworked with sleek leather.

A special mention to the feathery accessories signed by Noémiah.

Harricana is collaborating with Jean Charles de Castelbajac for Rossignol Ecoluxe skiwear.
