Back in the late 90s, the French label Surface To Air was formed by a group of friends who wanted to work on projects they believed in. As the years went by, the group became a multidisciplinary company whose work spanned the realms of fashion, graphics, photography, design, music, and film.
From printed tees, tailored coats and jeans to accessories and bags for men & women, Surface To Air offers a distinctive approach to classic & technical garments. Every season, alongside their collection, they also develop special collaborations with revolving door of artists, designers, musicians. Surface To Air has three stores: Paris, Sao Paulo & Copenhagen and is distributed in more than 106 stores all over the world (Barney’s, Reborn, Le Bon March)
Similar to fellow French labels A.P.C & Kitsune, Surface To Air offers a good quality, clean aesthetic and simple clothing. It’s uncomplicated, easy to dress up, and you’ll spend less time in front of the mirror!
Ken Ace
Ken Ace is your average Montreal native who had a sense of fashion at an early age but just started exhibiting them. He studied Buying at Lasalle. He worked for numerous retails stores such as Gap, Club Monaco, Apartment Deux & Mens. So when the opportunity to write on a blog came to him, a small voice came to his mind and said:” Here’s your chance to share your God given gift which is your love & passion for fashion.”
