Rag Time

Breezy Excursion Karmaloop

Before I get into my post, I just wanted to say how jealous I am of all the 10 days of Christmukah giveaway winners.  I wish could have grabbed some of that free loot.

I’ve learned over the years that I tend to have a very compulsive personality. If I like a restaurant, I go there everyday, and let’s not get into my Starbucks addiction. I’ve also found that after each post I write, I go out and buy what I was talking about, as if I am reading my own blogs and listening to myself.  My compulsive disorder also applies to my clothing collection. I tend to attach myself to one article until I overdose. When I was in grade 11, I wore long sleeve shirts/polo, then in Cegep, I liked hoodies, then I moved into sweaters/cardigans in University, button down shirts in L.A., and now my newest obsession is Raglan sweatshirts.

Alternative Apparel

They are baseball inspired sweatshirts (in a solid color for the most part) that are a hybrid of a hoody and a long sleeve shirt and are cozy as hell. In less than a year, I have amassed eight different colors.  I got most of them at this cool store called Opportunity Workshop where they do custom silk-screens using Alternative apparel and washing them until they are extremely soft. I also got an amazing ripped one online from Urban Outfitters. My latest was from American Apparel, done in a black lightweight pique, which is the same material as a traditional polo. I definitely think they are a must for the cold winters and great with everything, especially a t-shirt and jeans.
