Philip Sparks @ MFW
For the second day of MFW, yourKloset.com started the day with a men’s line that got inspired by Herman Melville’s Moby Dick.
For his 2010 fall collection, Canadian born designer Philip Sparks incorporated nautical details. Using dark color palettes and fabrics such as wool, tweed, cashmere and even, suede, the collection, mostly consisting of outwear, offers a variety of well made pieces guaranteed to make you want some more.
The “black suede zipper coat”, the “black wool Melton cape coat” and the “navy cashmere cargo shirt” were my “coup de Coeur”. In general, all the pieces had something to fascinating to offer. Mr. Sparks, your line can only get better!
