A.P.C. (Atelier de Production et de Creation)

Jean Touitou A.P.C.

Created back in 1988 by Tunis native Jean Touitou, the French label A.P.C. represents simple, chic casual wear for both men and women. In today’s modern world of “who wears what,” Touitou’s label is becoming a well-known name in the ready-to-wear fashion industry. With respectable collaborations with big names, such as Nike, and street brands, such as K-way, Supreme, and SOPH, A.P.C distinguishes itself by not only making “street” acceptable on the higher echelon of fashion, but also by understanding what it takes to succeed in an industry that changes in the blink of an eye.

The label’s most popular item is jeans. Offered in a wide array of cuts & washes, the denim remains on line as fashion moves forwards. For updated looks, A.P.C. offers fashionable pieces (dress shirts, sweaters, blazers, pants, and shoes) that maintain a timeless, contemporary feel by using basic bold colors that speak for themselves.

Clothing and accessories are not the only things on the A.P.C. menu. Touitou’s love for collaboration not only shows in his clothes, but also in his CDs that he sells at some of his stores. Produced at the Atelier de Production et de Creation recording studios, Touitou also offers compilations CDs of some of his favorite musicians.  Here, have a listen:
