Turban Style
Amongst my favorite fashion trends of all time is the turban. Perhaps it is because of my undying love for Erykah Badu, or maybe it is related to the fact that I am originally from India, but there is nothing more fabulous than a great turban.
Filled with contradiction and cultural appropriation, turbans made a comeback from old Hollywood is Spring/Summer 2007 when Prada’s glamorous silk satin turbans exploded on the runway. Since then though, I have seen turbans making a slight surge in terms of street style.
You either love the turban, or you hate it … I definitely love it!
