My NEW Beloved VINTAGE Finds

Vintage Finds

Now that fashion week is over, I have a little time to talk about my new beloved vintage finds. In the past month, I have found some ridiculously amazing pieces that just can’t go unnoticed.  They have all been tucked away in my Kloset waiting to get photographed.

Any fashion forward women should know that the boyfriend blazer is the most essential item to own this season.  You will see blazers in a slew of fabrics in most stores.  To save money and be original, hit up a thrift store near you.

Vintage Finds

This is the most amazing thing I have ever seen. Unfortunately for the rest of you vintage lovers, this jacket is my mother’s. It is is truly one-of-a-kind.  It is a beautifully intricate piece that grabs the attention of everyone around you. I encourage all of you to look through your mother’s, grandmother’s, or even your grandfather’s Klosets. You’ll never know what you’ll find in there.

Boyfriend Blazer

This blazer, believe it or not, was found at Salvation Army in Gravenhurst, a small town near my cottage.  Seriously people, never underestimate the thrift stores.

My mother decided to hit up the local Salvation Army to see if she could find something for Halloween when she found this blazer, that she knew I would love with my costume-like sense of style. She bought it for me for a whopping $9.99.  It has has massive shoulder pads and tiny diamonds all over it. It is a token 80s piece that I absolutely LOVE.

Vintage Tunic

Ok, so I went to NYC and obviously went to every single vintage store and flea market I could find until my feet were sore. I have mentioned this store before but if you are ever in NYC, you MUST go to Tokyo 7.  It is located on 7th in between 1st and 2nd.  I found this amazing Vintage Tory Burch velvet and sequin dolly rocker float for a mere 60 bucks. This dress makes me feel like I am living in the 60’s. They have a million and one amazing things in that store that could keep you in there for days. It is a consignment store which sells a whole variety of high-end brands, such as Chanel, Dior, Marc Jacobs, and Chloe all for half the price.

Vintage Finds

Last but not least, my favorite ‘Party Girl’ dress. Honestly, all designers are grabbing their inspiration from the 80s, and at Value Village, you can find the real thing. When I was in NYC, I went to Top Shop and I swear they had a very similar dress to this one for 100 whole dollars. This dress has amazing sequin and fringe detailing which makes a little black dress that much more unique and fashion forward.  I am ashamed to admit that I just recently came across the Value Village at Bloor and Dufferin. It is a massive Value Village that literally carries everything, when you have the time and energy hit it up.

That’s all for now. Come back next time for some inspirational street style fashion.
